Fleece is the quieter of our two vests: no rustle, a collar that stands up around the neck panel, and a body that slips under a coat.
The fleece vests use the same nine carbon-fiber panels as the puffers, placed at the neck, the chest, the middle and lower back, and around the hand pockets. The stand-up collar matters more than it looks: it keeps the neck panel up around your neck, where a low-cut vest would leave a gap under a scarf.
Fleece is soft rather than shell-like, so it is the vest to wear under a rain jacket or a parka rather than over everything. It goes in the washing machine once the bank is out of the inner pocket. We do not rate the fleece vests for hours. The bank in the box is the same 10,000 mAh 5V bank that ships with the puffers.
